925 Sterling Silver — Polishing & Care

Sterling silver naturally tarnishes over time when exposed to air and moisture. To keep it gleaming:

Gently polish with a soft silver cleaning cloth using light, back-and-forth strokes (avoid circular motions, which can cause micro-scratches).
For deeper tarnish, use a mild silver polish paste and rinse thoroughly with warm water — then dry immediately with a soft cloth.
Avoid wearing silver in the shower, pool, or ocean, and remove it before applying lotions, perfumes, or hairspray.
Store in an airtight pouch or zip-lock bag to slow tarnishing between wears.

Pearls are organic gems that require gentle handling:

Put pearls on last — always after applying perfume, hairspray, and makeup, as chemicals degrade the nacre over time.
Wipe pearls gently with a soft, damp cloth after each wear to remove skin oils and residue.
Store pearls separately from other jewelry to prevent scratching — ideally in a soft pouch or lined box.
Keep them away from direct sunlight, heat, and airtight containers (pearls need slight humidity to prevent drying and cracking).
Never use ultrasonic cleaners, steam, or harsh chemical cleaners on pearls.

Vintage digicams are built to last — with a little love:

Batteries: Remove batteries if storing the camera for an extended period to prevent leakage and corrosion. Use fresh, quality batteries and avoid mixing old and new.
Lens & Body: Wipe the lens gently with a microfibre cloth — never paper towels or clothing. Use a soft brush or air blower to remove dust from crevices.
Storage: Keep cameras in a cool, dry place away from humidity. A small silica gel packet in your camera bag helps absorb moisture.
Turning it on: If a camera has been stored for a while, power it on periodically to keep internal components active.
